QCT A Day In Charleston, SC Trip

Queen City Tourssm offers the comprehensive QCT A Day In Charleston, SC, Tripsm departing from Charlotte, NC. The itinerary includes a light breakfast, a guided plantation tour, a garden tour, and options for additional attractions such as the South Carolina Aquarium, Fort Sumter National Monument, Maritime Center, or the International African-American Museum. Participants will also enjoy a boxed lunch, a historical harbor tour, and a Dutch-treat dinner in downtown Charleston.

QCT Charlotte Daily Black Heritage Tour

See and learn the rich Black history of Charlotte as well as current and future plans. This 2 1/2 hour guided motorized climate controlled QCT Charlotte Daily Black Heritage Toursm includes over 100 sites in Uptown (including the four Wards and celebrity homes), and three old Black neighborhoods (Washington Heights, McCrorey Heights, and Biddleville) that include an HBCU, oldest Black congregation, Black bank, and over 250 years of Charlotte history! There is a 25 minute mid-tour stop for souvenirs, snacks, or restroom break.

QCT Charlotte Pilgrimage Tour

The QCT Charlotte Pilgrimage Toursm offers an immersive journey through Charlotte’s rich African-American history.

Participants visit three historic slave cemeteries, a former slave church, and over 50 significant sites, retracing the 1998 Interfaith Pilgrimage’s path.

This tour provides profound insights into the city’s heritage, fostering understanding and healing.

Tours are open to individuals during Black History Month (February) and Juneteenth (June), and available from May through October for groups of four or more, with advance reservations.

Embark on the QCT FLALGANC Experiencesm, a profound six-day journey through Florida, Alabama, Georgia, and North Carolina, exploring over 120 years of Black history. Highlights include Miami’s Black heritage, the poignant Rosewood community, Pensacola‘s historical sites, the Selma to Montgomery Trail, Atlanta‘s Civil Rights landmarks, and Charlotte’s rich African-American heritage. QCT Miami Daily Black Heritage Tour

he QCT Miami Daily Black Heritage Tour offers a 3-hour guided exploration of Miami’s rich Black history. The tour covers over 120 years of history, including sites in Downtown/Overtown (including the Wynwood art district), and early suburbs like Brownsville, Coconut Grove, Liberty City, Little Haiti (formerly Lemon City), and Miami Gardens.

Highlights include the Lyric Theatre in Overtown, the first Black/African-American owned hotel on Miami Beach, and the connection to boxing heavyweight champ Muhammad Ali.

Tours are available daily at 9:30 AM and 1:30 PM, with an additional 5:30 PM tour subject to availability.
